Christ on the Cross (1445)
Francesco Pesellino, a Florentine painter of the early Renaissance, created the striking work "Christ on the Cross" in 1445. This painting shows a masterful depiction of emotion and drama typical of the art of this period. Pesellino, who trained in the workshop of his grandfather, the famous painter Giuliano Pesello, shows in this work his ability to combine religious themes with a deep humanity. The composition is both simple and powerful, with a focus on the central figure of Christ, captured in a moment of suffering and redemption.
Interesting fact: Pesellino was known for his collaborations with other artists, including the famous Fra Filippo Lippi. A lesser known fact is that Pesellino was often referred to as "the little Pesello" to distinguish him from his grandfather. Despite his short life, he died at only 35 years of age, he left a lasting impression on the Renaissance art world.

Print medium
We use extra-heavy (400g/m2) premium canvas made from 100% cotton. The high grammage and texture of the canvas ensures a particularly high-quality and almost three-dimensional appearance.
Environmentally friendly
We only use original and high-quality pigment ink which contains real pigment particles. This is UV-resistant, solvent-free, vegan and environmentally friendly.
UV & moisture resistant
Thanks to the UV resistance of our pigment inks, the prints do not fade or discolor and retain their color brilliance for up to 100 years.
