Interior perspective of a metropolitan church (1781)
Étienne-Louis Boullée was a visionary 18th-century architect whose designs are often seen as precursors of the modern architectural style. His 1781 work "Perspective View of the Interior of a Metropolitan Church" is a striking example of his ability to conceive monumental yet harmonious spaces. Boullée was known for his bold and often utopian designs that masterfully used the play of light and shadow to create dramatic effects. This perspective view shows a grandiose, almost otherworldly cathedral that leaves the viewer in awe and emphasizes the spiritual grandeur of the space.
Interesting fact: Boullée was not only an architect, but also a passionate theoretician. He wrote numerous treatises on architecture in which he set out his ideas about the emotional impact of buildings. A lesser-known detail of his life is that he fell out of favor during the French Revolution, as his designs were considered too extravagant and lavish for the revolutionary ideals. Nevertheless, his ideas influenced generations of architects and later inspired the development of neoclassicism and modern construction.

Our fine art giclée printers use 12 different ink tanks and produce museum-quality art prints. Thanks to specially pigmented inks, significantly more color nuances can be displayed than with conventional printing processes and other providers.
Print medium
We use extra-heavy (400g/m2) premium canvas made from 100% cotton. The high grammage and texture of the canvas ensures a particularly high-quality and almost three-dimensional appearance.
Environmentally friendly
We only use original and high-quality pigment ink which contains real pigment particles. This is UV-resistant, solvent-free, vegan and environmentally friendly.
UV & moisture resistant
Thanks to the UV resistance of our pigment inks, the prints do not fade or discolor and retain their color brilliance for up to 100 years.
