The Bride and Groom (undated)
Louis Wain, the master of anthropomorphic cats, presents us with a whimsical spectacle in "The Bride and Groom" that charmingly blurs the lines between humans and animals. In this untitled work, we see a pair of cats posed in full wedding regalia, as if they had stepped straight out of a Victorian storybook. Wain's distinctive style, which captivates with vibrant colors and playful details, draws the viewer into a world where cats play the main role and human idiosyncrasies are portrayed with a wink.
Interesting Fact: Often referred to as the "Cat Man," Louis Wain began his career as an illustrator for children's books and magazines. What many don't know is that Wain only began painting his famous cat paintings after his wife died as a way to deal with his grief. His works became increasingly surreal over the years, which some art historians attribute to his deteriorating mental health. Despite his personal struggles, Wain remains a symbol of creativity and eccentricity in the art world.

Druckqualität & Material
We believe that art has the power to inspire the mind, tell stories and transform spaces.
That's why we put our hearts into every step of the printing process to ensure that every work we produce meets the highest artistic standards.
printing process
Our fine art giclée printers use 12 different ink tanks and produce museum-quality art prints. Thanks to specially pigmented inks, significantly more color nuances can be displayed than with conventional printing processes and other providers.
Print medium
We use extra-heavy (400g/m2) premium canvas made from 100% cotton. The high grammage and texture of the canvas ensures a particularly high-quality and almost three-dimensional appearance.
Environmentally friendly
We only use original and high-quality pigment ink which contains real pigment particles. This is UV-resistant, solvent-free, vegan and environmentally friendly.
UV & moisture resistant
Thanks to the UV resistance of our pigment inks, the prints do not fade or discolor and retain their color brilliance for up to 100 years.
