Souvenir de Mauve (1888)
Vincent van Gogh, the master of bright colors and swirling brushstrokes, created the work "Souvenir de Mauve" in 1888. This painting is a tribute to his late brother-in-law Anton Mauve, who influenced Van Gogh in his early years as an artist. The delicate lilac blossoms depicted in this work almost seem to dance, as if moved by a gentle spring breeze. Van Gogh captures the essence of nature with such vibrancy that you can almost smell the scent of the blossoms. We use extra-heavy (400g/m2) premium canvas made from 100% cotton. The high grammage and texture of the canvas ensures a particularly high-quality and almost three-dimensional appearance.
Environmentally friendly
We only use original and high-quality pigment ink which contains real pigment particles. This is UV-resistant, solvent-free, vegan and environmentally friendly.
UV & moisture resistant
Thanks to the UV resistance of our pigment inks, the prints do not fade or discolor and retain their color brilliance for up to 100 years.
