Yellow and Green Sunset (1911)
Felix Vallotton's "Coucher de soleil jaune et vert" from 1911 is a fascinating play of colors and light. The sunset, in bright yellow and green, exudes an almost surreal atmosphere. Vallotton, a master of color woodcuts and a member of the Nabis group of artists, shows here his ability to achieve maximum effect with minimal means. The composition is simple but powerful, and the choice of colors gives the work an almost hypnotic quality. The viewer is transported into a world where the boundaries between reality and dream are blurred.
Interesting fact: Felix Vallotton was not only a gifted painter, but also a talented writer. He wrote several novels and plays, but they never received the same recognition as his visual art. Another curious detail from his life: Vallotton was a passionate collector of postcards, which he meticulously collected and archived on his travels. This passion for collecting reflects his fascination with the variety of visual impressions, which is also expressed in his paintings.

Print Quality & Material
We believe that art has the power to inspire the mind, tell stories and transform spaces.
That's why we put our hearts into every step of the printing process to ensure that every work we produce meets the highest artistic standards.
printing process
Our fine art giclée printers use 12 different ink tanks and produce museum-quality art prints. Thanks to specially pigmented inks, significantly more color nuances can be displayed than with conventional printing processes and other providers.
Print medium
We use extra-heavy (400g/m2) premium canvas made from 100% cotton. The high grammage and texture of the canvas ensures a particularly high-quality and almost three-dimensional appearance.
Environmentally friendly
We only use original and high-quality pigment ink which contains real pigment particles. This is UV-resistant, solvent-free, vegan and environmentally friendly.
UV & moisture resistant
Thanks to the UV resistance of our pigment inks, the prints do not fade or discolor and retain their color brilliance for up to 100 years.
