Petite Aigrette (1869–1954)
Simon Albert Bussy, a French painter born in 1869, is known for his delicate and detailed depictions of animals and plants. His work "Petite Aigrette" features a graceful small species of heron captured with delicate brushstrokes and a subtle color palette. Active in the early 20th century art scene, Bussy created works that are fascinating in both their simplicity and complexity. His ability to depict the essence of his subjects with an almost poetic sensitivity makes his artwork a true delight to the eye.
Interesting fact: Simon Albert Bussy was not only a talented painter, but also married to the writer Dorothy Bussy, known for her novel "Olivia". The couple were part of an intellectual circle that also included figures such as Virginia Woolf and EM Forster. Bussy was also a close friend of Henri Matisse, who introduced him to the world of the Fauves, which had a lasting influence on his artistic style.

Print Quality & Material
We believe that art has the power to inspire the mind, tell stories and transform spaces.
That's why we put our hearts into every step of the printing process to ensure that every work we produce meets the highest artistic standards.
printing process
Our fine art giclée printers use 12 different ink tanks and produce museum-quality art prints. Thanks to specially pigmented inks, significantly more color nuances can be displayed than with conventional printing processes and other providers.
Print medium
We use extra-heavy (400g/m2) premium canvas made from 100% cotton. The high grammage and texture of the canvas ensures a particularly high-quality and almost three-dimensional appearance.
Environmentally friendly
We only use original and high-quality pigment ink which contains real pigment particles. This is UV-resistant, solvent-free, vegan and environmentally friendly.
UV & moisture resistant
Thanks to the UV resistance of our pigment inks, the prints do not fade or discolor and retain their color brilliance for up to 100 years.
