Penguin (1869-1954)
Simon Albert Bussy, a French painter who lived from 1869 to 1954, is known for his enchanting depictions of animals and landscapes. His work "Penguin" is a prime example of his ability to capture the essence of his animal subjects with a touch of humor and charm. With a brushstroke as precise as a penguin in a tuxedo, Bussy manages to bring the cool elegance and playful nature of these flightless birds to the canvas. Interesting fact: Simon Albert Bussy was not only a gifted painter, but also married to the famous writer Dorothy Bussy. Dorothy was a close friend of Virginia Woolf and translated the works of André Gide into English. One could say that the couple lived in a creative universe where brush and pen were equally powerful.

We use extra-heavy (400g/m2) premium canvas made from 100% cotton. The high grammage and texture of the canvas ensures a particularly high-quality and almost three-dimensional appearance.
Environmentally friendly
We only use original and high-quality pigment ink which contains real pigment particles. This is UV-resistant, solvent-free, vegan and environmentally friendly.
UV & moisture resistant
Thanks to the UV resistance of our pigment inks, the prints do not fade or discolor and retain their color brilliance for up to 100 years.
