The White Cat (1894)
Pierre Bonnard, the French master of intimacy, captures the essence of domestic life in his 1894 work Il gatto bianco. Using a palette as vibrant as a Parisian spring, Bonnard depicts a white tomcat lounging on a table, surrounded by a kaleidoscope of colors and textures. The scene is so inviting you can almost hear the cat purring. Bonnard's ability to transform the mundane into something magical is in full bloom here. Fun fact: Pierre Bonnard was known for reworking his paintings over the years. He often applied his paints in thin layers, which allowed him to change the compositions over and over again. It is said that he even secretly continued painting his works in museums when he was unhappy with the result!

Print medium
We use extra-heavy (400g/m2) premium canvas made from 100% cotton. The high grammage and texture of the canvas ensures a particularly high-quality and almost three-dimensional appearance.
Environmentally friendly
We only use original and high-quality pigment ink which contains real pigment particles. This is UV-resistant, solvent-free, vegan and environmentally friendly.
UV & moisture resistant
Thanks to the UV resistance of our pigment inks, the prints do not fade or discolor and retain their color brilliance for up to 100 years.
