Stage design Magic Flute (1816)
Karl Friedrich Schinkel, an outstanding architect, town planner and painter of the early 19th century, designed the set for Mozart's opera "The Magic Flute" in 1816. His work is characterized by an extraordinary combination of romantic imagination and classical clarity, which enabled him to visually capture the magical and mystical atmosphere of the opera. Schinkel's design for The Magic Flute is particularly well known for its striking depiction of Egyptian-inspired architecture and landscapes that transport viewers to another world.
Interesting fact: Karl Friedrich Schinkel was not only known as a stage designer and architect, but also as a painter. His ability to create dramatic and emotional landscapes significantly influenced the development of the Romantic movement in art. In addition, Schinkel played a central role in Prussian urban planning and left a lasting legacy in Berlin's architecture.

Our fine art giclée printers use 12 different ink tanks and produce museum-quality art prints. Thanks to specially pigmented inks, significantly more color nuances can be displayed than with conventional printing processes and other providers.
Print medium
We use extra-heavy (400g/m2) premium canvas made from 100% cotton. The high grammage and texture of the canvas ensures a particularly high-quality and almost three-dimensional appearance.
Environmentally friendly
We only use original and high-quality pigment ink which contains real pigment particles. This is UV-resistant, solvent-free, vegan and environmentally friendly.
UV & moisture resistant
Thanks to the UV resistance of our pigment inks, the prints do not fade or discolor and retain their color brilliance for up to 100 years.
