Forest Landscape (1868-1948)
Gustaf Fjaestad, a master of Swedish landscape painting, captures the silent poetry of the Nordic forests in his work "Skogslandskap". Using a palette of cool blues and greens, he creates an atmosphere of calm and contemplation. The trees stretching towards the sky seem to be caught in an eternal dance with the wind, while the ground is covered with a carpet of moss and ferns. Fjaestad's technique of depicting the texture of nature so vividly almost makes the viewer feel the scent of the forest and the rustling of the leaves. His works are not only visual representations, but also emotional experiences that touch the soul.
Interesting fact: Gustaf Fjaestad was not only a gifted painter, but also a talented cyclist. Before he devoted himself to art, he competed in the Swedish cycling championships and even won a bronze medal in 1891. This athletic discipline and endurance are reflected in the precision and detail of his artwork. Fjaestad was also a member of the artist colony in Arvika, which was known for its close connection to nature and its innovative approach to art.

Environmentally friendly
We only use original and high-quality pigment ink which contains real pigment particles. This is UV-resistant, solvent-free, vegan and environmentally friendly.
UV & moisture resistant
Thanks to the UV resistance of our pigment inks, the prints do not fade or discolor and retain their color brilliance for up to 100 years.
