Kiss (1909)
The "Kiss" by Gustav Klimt, created in 1909, is a masterpiece of the Vienna Secession and a prime example of Art Nouveau. The painting shows a couple in an intimate embrace, wrapped in a golden, ornamental cloak reminiscent of Byzantine mosaics. The fusion of bodies and patterns creates an almost hypnotic effect that transports the viewer into a world of sensuality and dreams. Klimt's use of gold and his detailed ornamentation give the work a timeless elegance that continues to fascinate today.
Interesting fact: Gustav Klimt was not only a master painter, but also a real cat lover. He lived with several cats who often roamed around his studio and kept him company while he worked. Klimt was also known for working in a long painter's smock - often with nothing underneath! This unconventional way of working certainly contributed to his reputation as an eccentric artist.

We use extra-heavy (400g/m2) premium canvas made from 100% cotton. The high grammage and texture of the canvas ensures a particularly high-quality and almost three-dimensional appearance.
Environmentally friendly
We only use original and high-quality pigment ink which contains real pigment particles. This is UV-resistant, solvent-free, vegan and environmentally friendly.
UV & moisture resistant
Thanks to the UV resistance of our pigment inks, the prints do not fade or discolor and retain their color brilliance for up to 100 years.
