A Knight Rides Forth II (1915)
John Bauer's "En riddare red fram II" from 1915 takes the viewer into a mystical world full of magic and mystery. The painting shows a lone knight riding through an enchanted forest, surrounded by tall, gloomy trees that seem almost like living beings. Interesting fact: John Bauer, a Swedish artist, is best known for his illustrations in the fairy tale collection "Bland tomtar och troll". What many do not know: Bauer had a deep fascination with nature and often went on long hikes to find inspiration. Tragically, his life ended far too soon when he died in a shipwreck on Lake Vättern in 1918. Ironically, the ship he was traveling on was named after one of his favorite fairy tales: "Per Brahe".

Environmentally friendly
We only use original and high-quality pigment ink which contains real pigment particles. This is UV-resistant, solvent-free, vegan and environmentally friendly.
UV & moisture resistant
Thanks to the UV resistance of our pigment inks, the prints do not fade or discolor and retain their color brilliance for up to 100 years.
