He is said to have once dissected an elephant to demonstrate the anatomy of a large mammal to his students, which was certainly an unusual occurrence in 19th century medical education.

Thanks to the UV resistance of our pigment inks, the prints do not fade or discolor and retain their color brilliance for up to 100 years.
