The Embrace (1917)
Egon Schiele, an outstanding representative of Austrian Expressionism, created the striking work "The Embrace" in 1917. Interesting fact: Egon Schiele was not only a gifted painter, but also a rebel of his time. He was arrested several times for his provocative artwork and unconventional lifestyle. A particularly curious incident occurred in 1912, when Schiele was arrested for "distributing indecent drawings." During his 24-day detention, he painted with the few materials available and created some of his most impressive works. Despite his short lifespan - he died of the Spanish flu in 1918 at the age of just 28 - Schiele left behind an impressive artistic legacy that continues to fascinate and inspire today.

We use extra-heavy (400g/m2) premium canvas made from 100% cotton. The high grammage and texture of the canvas ensures a particularly high-quality and almost three-dimensional appearance.
Environmentally friendly
We only use original and high-quality pigment ink which contains real pigment particles. This is UV-resistant, solvent-free, vegan and environmentally friendly.
UV & moisture resistant
Thanks to the UV resistance of our pigment inks, the prints do not fade or discolor and retain their color brilliance for up to 100 years.
