The Wave (1870–1924)
Guillaume Seignac, a master of academic painting, enchants us with his work "The Wave". In this painting, grace and movement merge as an elegant woman in a flowing robe seemingly dances with the waves. Born in Rennes in 1870, Seignac was a student of William-Adolphe Bouguereau and Jean-Léon Gérôme, which explains his penchant for classical themes and flawless technique. His works are known for their soft, almost ethereal depictions of women, who often appear in mythological or allegorical scenes. "The Wave" is a perfect example of his ability to combine movement and calm in a single image.
Fun fact: Guillaume Seignac was not only a gifted painter, but also a man with a keen sense of humor. It is said that he once painted a self-portrait depicting himself as an ancient god, complete with laurel wreath and toga, to amuse his friends. This painting was unveiled at one of his legendary dinner parties, where he often entertained his guests with such humorous surprises.

Our fine art giclée printers use 12 different ink tanks and produce museum-quality art prints. Thanks to specially pigmented inks, significantly more color nuances can be displayed than with conventional printing processes and other providers.
Print medium
We use extra-heavy (400g/m2) premium canvas made from 100% cotton. The high grammage and texture of the canvas ensures a particularly high-quality and almost three-dimensional appearance.
Environmentally friendly
We only use original and high-quality pigment ink which contains real pigment particles. This is UV-resistant, solvent-free, vegan and environmentally friendly.
UV & moisture resistant
Thanks to the UV resistance of our pigment inks, the prints do not fade or discolor and retain their color brilliance for up to 100 years.
