Starfish (1870–1954)
Simon Albert Bussy, a French painter known for his vivid depictions of animals and plants, captures the mesmerizing beauty of a starfish in his work "Starfish." Interesting fact: Simon Albert Bussy was not only a talented painter, but was also married to the famous writer Dorothy Bussy. Dorothy was the sister of Lytton Strachey, a prominent member of the Bloomsbury Group. This connection brought Simon into contact with some of the most influential artists and intellectuals of his time, which had a significant impact on his artistic development. Bussy was also a close friend of Henri Matisse, who supported and inspired him in his artistic career.

Print medium
We use extra-heavy (400g/m2) premium canvas made from 100% cotton. The high grammage and texture of the canvas ensures a particularly high-quality and almost three-dimensional appearance.
Environmentally friendly
We only use original and high-quality pigment ink which contains real pigment particles. This is UV-resistant, solvent-free, vegan and environmentally friendly.
UV & moisture resistant
Thanks to the UV resistance of our pigment inks, the prints do not fade or discolor and retain their color brilliance for up to 100 years.
