Rosa Eglanteria sub rubra (1817-1824)
Pierre Joseph Redouté, a renowned painter from the early 19th century, specialized in botanical illustrations and created the artwork "Rosa Eglanteria sub rubra" between 1817 and 1824. This work is characterized by its exceptional level of detail and vibrant coloring, capturing the beauty of nature in its purest form. Redouté used a technique called watercolor to depict the delicate structure and bright colors of flowers, earning him the nickname "Raphael of flowers."
Interesting fact: Pierre Joseph Redouté was known not only for his artistic skills, but also for his collaborations with eminent scientists of his time, including the French queen Marie Antoinette and Joséphine de Beauharnais, the wife of Napoleon Bonaparte. His works served not only aesthetic purposes but also scientific research by documenting botanical species in detail.

Our fine art giclée printers use 12 different ink tanks and produce museum-quality art prints. Thanks to specially pigmented inks, significantly more color nuances can be displayed than with conventional printing processes and other providers.
Print medium
We use extra-heavy (400g/m2) premium canvas made from 100% cotton. The high grammage and texture of the canvas ensures a particularly high-quality and almost three-dimensional appearance.
Environmentally friendly
We only use original and high-quality pigment ink which contains real pigment particles. This is UV-resistant, solvent-free, vegan and environmentally friendly.
UV & moisture resistant
Thanks to the UV resistance of our pigment inks, the prints do not fade or discolor and retain their color brilliance for up to 100 years.
