Stained Glass (1840–1916)
Odilon Redon, a master of symbolism, created "Le Vitrail," a work that blurs the lines between reality and dream. Born in Bordeaux in 1840, Redon was known for his ability to make the invisible visible. His artwork is often surrounded by a mystical aura that transports the viewer to another world. "Le Vitrail" is a perfect example of his ability to use light and color to create emotions and moods. The composition is reminiscent of a church window, offering a spiritual experience with its bright colors and complex patterns.
Interesting fact: Odilon Redon had an unusual childhood that greatly influenced his artistic development. Due to health problems, he spent a lot of time alone in nature, which fueled his imagination. A lesser-known detail is that Redon originally studied architecture before turning to painting. This architectural training is reflected in the structural complexity of many of his works. In addition, Redon was an avid reader and often drew inspiration from literary works, which is evident in his illustrations and lithographs. His ability to combine the uncanny and the beautiful makes him a unique artist of his time.

Print medium
We use extra-heavy (400g/m2) premium canvas made from 100% cotton. The high grammage and texture of the canvas ensures a particularly high-quality and almost three-dimensional appearance.
Environmentally friendly
We only use original and high-quality pigment ink which contains real pigment particles. This is UV-resistant, solvent-free, vegan and environmentally friendly.
UV & moisture resistant
Thanks to the UV resistance of our pigment inks, the prints do not fade or discolor and retain their color brilliance for up to 100 years.
