Dance (1896)
Jules Chéret, a pioneer of poster art, created "Dance" in 1896, which captures the essence of the Belle Époque in Paris. Often called the "father of the modern poster," Chéret revolutionized advertising art with his vibrant colors and dynamic compositions. "Dance" depicts a lively scene full of movement and joy, typical of Chéret's style. His works were not only advertisements, but also works of art that shaped the streetscape of Paris and influenced mass culture. Chéret was a master at capturing the attention of passers-by and giving them a feeling of lightness and pleasure.
Fun fact: Jules Chéret was not only a talented artist, but also an innovator in printing technology. He developed a method that allowed posters to be printed in bright colors and in large quantities, which had not been possible before. A lesser-known detail of his life is that Chéret originally worked in London before returning to Paris to start his career as a poster artist. This time in England significantly influenced his style and technique. Chéret was also a passionate dancer, which is reflected in the dynamic depiction of movement in his works. His posters were so popular that they were often ripped off walls to serve as decorations in Parisians' homes.

Print Quality & Material
We believe that art has the power to inspire the mind, tell stories and transform spaces.
That's why we put our hearts into every step of the printing process to ensure that every work we produce meets the highest artistic standards.
printing process
Our fine art giclée printers use 12 different ink tanks and produce museum-quality art prints. Thanks to specially pigmented inks, significantly more color nuances can be displayed than with conventional printing processes and other providers.
Print medium
We use extra-heavy (400g/m2) premium canvas made from 100% cotton. The high grammage and texture of the canvas ensures a particularly high-quality and almost three-dimensional appearance.
Environmentally friendly
We only use original and high-quality pigment ink which contains real pigment particles. This is UV-resistant, solvent-free, vegan and environmentally friendly.
UV & moisture resistant
Thanks to the UV resistance of our pigment inks, the prints do not fade or discolor and retain their color brilliance for up to 100 years.
