Rousseau, who worked as a customs officer before devoting himself full-time to painting, was self-taught and was often misunderstood by the art world of his time. Interesting fact: Henri Rousseau was known for his vivid imagination and often told stories about his supposed trips to the jungle, although he never left Paris. His inspiration for the exotic landscapes actually came from botanical gardens and illustrations in books. Another curious detail: Rousseau was so confident in his talent that he once invited Pablo Picasso to a dinner where he proudly presented his works. Picasso, impressed by Rousseau's naive charm, became an admirer and supporter of his art.

Environmentally friendly
We only use original and high-quality pigment ink which contains real pigment particles. This is UV-resistant, solvent-free, vegan and environmentally friendly.
UV & moisture resistant
Thanks to the UV resistance of our pigment inks, the prints do not fade or discolor and retain their color brilliance for up to 100 years.
