Wetterhorn (Uetehorun) (1925)
Hiroshi Yoshida, a master of the shin hanga style, created the striking work "Wetterhorn (Uetehorun)" in 1925. This woodblock print captures the majestic presence of the Wetterhorn, an iconic peak in the Swiss Alps. Yoshida's ability to manipulate light and shadow gives the work an almost photographic quality. The subtle color palette and precise line work reflect his deep admiration for nature and showcase his technical brilliance. Often traveling, Yoshida was inspired by the landscapes he encountered on his travels through Europe, America, and Asia.
Interesting fact: Hiroshi Yoshida was not only a gifted artist, but also an adventurer. He climbed many of the mountains he painted and was an avid mountaineer. This personal experience gave his landscape depictions an authentic depth and perspective that set his works apart from others of his time.-

We only use original and high-quality pigment ink which contains real pigment particles. This is UV-resistant, solvent-free, vegan and environmentally friendly.
UV & moisture resistant
Thanks to the UV resistance of our pigment inks, the prints do not fade or discolor and retain their color brilliance for up to 100 years.
