Woman by Waterfall (from the Paradise Suite) (1889-1946)
Isaac Grünewald's "Kvinna vid vattenfall (ur Paradissviten)" is a vivid example of Swedish expressionism. The painting shows a woman standing in front of a waterfall in a dreamlike landscape. The strong colors and dynamic brushstrokes give the work an almost magical atmosphere. Grünewald, who was born in Stockholm in 1889, was a leading representative of the Swedish avant-garde and a student of Henri Matisse. His works are known for their bright colors and ability to convey emotions in a striking way.
Interesting fact: Isaac Grünewald was not only a talented painter, but also a passionate dancer. He was married to the famous Swedish dancer Sigrid Hjertén, who was also an important artist. Together they formed a dazzling couple in the Swedish art scene. Grünewald was also an avid fashion fan and was known for his extravagant outfits, which were often as colorful as his paintings.

Thanks to the UV resistance of our pigment inks, the prints do not fade or discolor and retain their color brilliance for up to 100 years.
