Two Great Egrets (1922)
Simon Albert Bussy, a French painter known for his vibrant depictions of animals and plants, created the work "Deux Grandes Aigrettes" in 1922. In this painting, Bussy captures the graceful elegance of two great herons standing in a serene, almost mystical setting. The subtle color palette and fine brushstrokes give the birds an almost ethereal presence that transports the viewer to a world of calm and beauty. Born near Paris, Bussy studied at the prestigious Académie Julian and was part of the Parisian art scene of the early 20th century.
Interesting fact: Simon Bussy was married to the writer Dorothy Bussy, who was closely associated with the Bloomsbury Group. This group of intellectuals and artists, which included Virginia Woolf and EM Forster, had a significant influence on the cultural landscape of Britain. Simon Bussy portrayed many members of this group, giving him a unique insight into this fascinating community.

We use extra-heavy (400g/m2) premium canvas made from 100% cotton. The high grammage and texture of the canvas ensures a particularly high-quality and almost three-dimensional appearance.
Environmentally friendly
We only use original and high-quality pigment ink which contains real pigment particles. This is UV-resistant, solvent-free, vegan and environmentally friendly.
UV & moisture resistant
Thanks to the UV resistance of our pigment inks, the prints do not fade or discolor and retain their color brilliance for up to 100 years.
